The manufacturing process begins at the Cottage in a Day® facility located in Traverse City Michigan. The materials are inspected and received into the factory and construction of the modules begins.

Because Cottage in a Day® is built indoors, there are no delays or damage related to the weather. The components and the process are controlled and streamlined for efficiency. Waste is virtually eliminated and left over materials are recycled or incorporated into alternate merchandise that compliments the Cottage in a Day® lifestyle.

Once the modules are complete, shrink-wrap is applied to further protect your cottage and it is transported to your site by professional drivers and installers.

The crane arrives and the modules are attached to the pre-inspected foundation. The lids are set, insulated, and trimmed, and your Cottage in a Day® is ready for the utilities to be connected.

Once final inspections occur, your Cottage in a Day® is ready to enjoy!
